What happens at the session?

​The sessions take approximately 2 hours but all depends on how easily baby settles. The session is baby led and although I ask you to bring baby with a nice full tummy, there is still plenty of time during the session to feed, change and cuddle baby. The sessions generally begin with the family/sibling images and then end with images of just baby. The studio is lovely and warm and full of so many props. If you would like to bring something to include in the images that is no problem but ideally let me know in advance.

 

Where does the session happen?

Newborn sessions take place in my studio on Main Cross Road. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS

 

What should I bring?

Please bring plenty of nappies, extra feeds and a dummy if using. A little bribe for any younger siblings is always a good idea too.

 

Can siblings come?

Siblings are more than welcome to come along to the session (please let me know when booking the number of siblings and their ages). It is also advisable to bring along something to keep them occupied and a little bribe incase they need a little persuasion on the day.

 

What happens after the session? 

After your session, I go through the images and select and edit normally 40-50 images. This takes approximately 7 days and once they are ready I send you a link and a password for your online gallery where you can view and chose your order.

 

What do I wear?

Ultimatately what you wear is entirely up to you but can make a big difference to your images. I often advise customers to stick to very simple neutral clothing to create timeless images. I do suggest you avoid fussy patterns, big logos etc.
